An improvement project for Cherokee Lake Park is well underway, and City officials report that while the lake continues to drain, citizens are cautioned to limit their usage to the portions of the park that remain open. The improvement project announced previously by the City of Thomasville for Cherokee Lake Park is now officially underway, with the goal to fully return one of Thomasville’s most popular green spaces to the community in early 2018.
