Police Career Opportunities

Law enforcement is a challenging and rewarding career. Courage, dedication, initiative and compassion are just a few of the traits necessary for this profession. The most important characteristic, however, is honesty. Citizens have entrusted their safety and well-being to the care of Police Officers. It is because of this trust that citizens demand the highest standards are maintained by each Police Officer. When a Police Officer is sworn in, he or she promises to protect that trust by upholding the law and diligently serving the people of the community.

This is not a career for everyone, nor is it one to be entered into lightly. Do you feel you have what it takes to wear a badge of trust? Are you ready to meet the challenge of a highly professional and dedicated Police Department?

If so, then we would like to offer you an opportunity to grow with the Thomasville Police Department.
