Mark your calendars for Friday, November 7, and head to Downtown Thomasville for an evening filled with live music, local shopping, delicious food, and family fun! The Lloyd Carter Band will headline the November First Friday event at The Ritz Amphitheater.
Festivities kick off at 5:00 p.m., when downtown shops and boutiques will stay open late for an evening of extended shopping. Enjoy the sounds of local favorites Christa Graham and Zack Lambert, performing live along the streets. Grab a drink from a participating merchant and sip as you stroll through the Downtown Entertainment District.
Food trucks will be onsite at The Ritz Amphitheater, including S&G World Famous BBQ and Lasalle’s Carnival Food. Many downtown restaurants will also be open for dinner and drinks, making it easy to enjoy a full night out.
At 8:00 p.m., The Lloyd Carter Band takes the stage. This talented group delivers high-energy performances that blend traditional country classics with upbeat party hits. Lead singer Lloyd Carter’s powerhouse vocals and engaging stage presence have earned him multiple nominations, including “Country Male Vocalist of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry, and “Male Vocalist of the Year” at the Georgia Country Awards.
“First Friday has become one of our community’s favorite events,” said Cassidee Smith, Special Events Coordinator for the City of Thomasville. “It’s a great way for friends and families to come together, support our local businesses, and enjoy a fun, relaxed night out in our beautiful downtown. We’re thrilled to welcome The Lloyd Carter Band to the stage this month - it’s going to be a fantastic show!”
