The City of Thomasville's Building Department serves the community in many capacities; its primary task being to improve our community's quality of life. By overseeing property issues that affect the environment, health, safety and property values within Thomasville, they strike a balance between what is best for individual property owners and the community as a whole.

The goal of the Code Enforcement office, with regard to noncompliance, is to work with property owners to find creative solutions to their specific issues before pursuing further action.
