The staff of the City of Thomasville Water Department is currently responding to a water leak at the intersection of East Clay Street and Clermont Drive. The repair work has already begun, and it is expected to be completed by 4 PM EST today.
During the repair work, East Clay Street will be temporarily closed for emergency purposes between Dunedin Drive and Euclid Drive. However, local traffic will be allowed to pass through. Detour signs will be erected in the area to direct drivers to alternative routes. It is recommended that commuters in the area choose a different path or expect traffic disruptions.
