The City of Thomasville Purchasing Department is responsible for managing the bid process and reviews specifications and conditions for invitations to bid.  The Purchasing Team reviews bids with vendors and assists vendors with the appropriate paper work for submitting a bid.  Current available bids can be found here.  The Purchasing Department is also responsible for ensuring vendor compliance.

The Purchasing Department also identifies and develops potential sources of supplies, materials, equipment, and service providers who are capable of providing quality goods at appropriate prices.  It initiates and maintains communications with these vendors to ensure proper pricing as well as placement of the product.
