City Tax Information

The City of Thomasville has not levied a property tax since 2012 but does serve as the levying authority for the Thomasville City Schools Board of Education and collects a school tax on their behelf. This school system determines the millage rate each year based on their operating budget. Questions regarding the millage rate should be directed to the Board of Education office at (229) 225-2600. School tax revenue collected by the City of Thomasville is transferred in its entirety to the Thomasville City Schools Board of Education.
