City of Thomasville Electric department contractors are scheduled to remove a dead pine tree on Old Monticello Road between Glen Arven Drive and Sandra Drive. The work is scheduled to begin on February 10, 2026, at approximately 8:30 AM and is expected to be completed within three hours.
There will be a temporary road closure on Old Monticello Road between Glen Arven Drive and Sandra Drive while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
