The City of Thomasville Natural Gas Department is scheduled to begin installing a new natural gas line on East Pinetree Boulevard between Whitehurst Street and Smith Avenue. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last five (5) days.
There will be a temporary lane closure of the outside south-bound lane of East Pinetree Boulevard between Whitehurst Street and Smith Avenue while the work is being completed. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays.
