Beginning Friday, July 14, 2017, Remington Avenue from South Hansell Street to Kern Street will be closed to thru traffic. The closure is necessary for the City of Thomasville Utilities’ Natural Gas Department to conduct repairs of gas valves located in the intersection of Remington Avenue and Bennett Street.
During this period, local traffic will be accommodated to the maximum extent possible. Thru traffic will be detoured at South Hansell and Kern Streets. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the day on July 14, 2017.
