Join us on Friday, October 3rd in Downtown Thomasville for a night of live music, shopping, food, and family fun as Dirty Bird and The Flu take the stage at The Ritz Amphitheater for the October First Friday event!
Festivities kick off at 5:00 p.m., when many shops and boutiques extend their hours so you can browse against the backdrop of live street music performed by local favorites Trammell Thompson and Saylor Dollar. Grab a drink from a participating merchant to enjoy throughout the Downtown Entertainment District.
Food Trucks will be onsite at The Ritz Amphitheater, including A Taste of Heaven BBQ and Mi Jefas Tacos Y Cantina, plus you can grab dinner and drinks at many downtown restaurants.
At 8:00 p.m., Dirty Bird & The Flu will bring their signature Southern‑fried funk and soulful tunes to the stage. With nearly a decade of performing, they add a fresh, tight‑knit groove that’s made them a South Georgia favorite.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Dirty Bird & The Flu,” said Cassidee Smith, Special Events Coordinator. “First Friday is all about bringing the community together, so mark your calendars and bring the whole family out for a night of fun.”
This event is free and open to the public through the support of the City of Thomasville, Flowers Foods, and Thomasville National Bank.
