City of Thomasville Wastewater Department crews are scheduled to begin replacing a sewer main on North Short Broad Street between Vine Street and Fann Street. The work is scheduled to begin on April 23, 2026 at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last six weeks.
There will be a temporary road closure to thru traffic on North Short Broad Street between Vine Street and Fann Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
