The City of Thomasville Water Department will begin installing a water service line at 410 South MLK Jr Drive, between Harris Street and Broadnax Street, starting on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The work is scheduled to begin at 8:30 am and may take up to seven hours to complete.
During the installation, there will be a temporary road closure on South MLK Jr Drive, between Harris Street and Broadnax Street. Detour signs will be put up, and people in the area are advised to take an alternate route or expect potential traffic delays. However, the road will still be open to local traffic.
