As part of the Remington Avenue Water Main Extension Project, City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin installing a new water main across East Pinetree Boulevard at the intersection of Remington Avenue. The work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last three days.
There will be a temporary road closure on East Pinetree Boulevard at the intersection of Remington Avenue while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays. Please CLICK HERE for the Detour map.
