As part of the 2021 CDBG project, City of Thomasville construction contractors will make water main improvements on N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Alexander Street and Felix Street. Work will begin July 27, 2023 at 8 A.M. and last two (2) days.
In order to complete the water main improvements, there will be a temporary road closure on N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Alexander Street and Felix Street. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. Click here for detour information. The road will be open to local traffic.
