As part of an ongoing initiative to provide custom-tailored law enforcement service to the community, the Thomasville Police Department proudly announces the release of a public opinion survey. The survey is used to gauge the effectiveness of past performance and create a plan that improves existing services and addresses newly identified issues.
“This survey plays a key role in our strategic planning and accreditation process,” said Thomasville Police Chief Wade Glover. “We encourage all Thomasville and Thomas County residents to take a few moments to participate.”
According to Glover, the survey is conveniently available online and only takes a few minutes to complete. “Our citizens can find the survey on the City of Thomasville website, Thomasville.org, the TPD Crimewatch page, and the TPD Facebook page,” said Glover. “It is fast and easy to complete, and it will be available until Saturday, October 31, 2026.”
Glover noted that survey participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for gift cards. “Participants may provide an email address to be entered into a drawing for five $100 gift cards,” said Glover. “Those who prefer to remain completely anonymous may simply skip the email field.”
“The Thomasville Police Department remains committed to continually enhancing the services we provide to our community,” said Glover. “To effectively protect and serve, we must be willing to acknowledge and address our areas for improvement, so gathering citizen feedback is one way for us to do that.”
