COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The City of Thomasville is proud to host a wide range of community outreach events throughout the year, designed to educate, support, and connect our residents. These events are made possible through collaboration with dedicated community partners and are open to individuals and families of all ages.
Our outreach initiatives include:
Community Revitalization & Education Events
Events like Mental Health Community Day and Kid’s Community Day focus on wellness, education, and neighborhood engagement.
Feeding Initiatives
We partner with organizations like the Salvation Army to provide weekly meals and host Feeding the Community events to help combat food insecurity.
Literacy Programs
Encouraging lifelong learning through events such as the Kids Summer Reading Series and the annual Literacy Fair.
Public Information Sessions
We invite residents to stay informed and involved through initiatives like Let’s Discuss and Coffee & Conversations.
Senior Outreach
Tailored programs and events aimed at enriching the lives of our senior residents.
If you’re intersted in learning more or would like to partner with us on any of these events, please reach out to Ricky Zambrano, Public Information Manager, and (229) 227-7041 or ricky.zambrano@thomasville.org.
