The City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Monday, January 15, 2024 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Due to the upcoming holiday, some City services will be affected. Schedules are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Our Utilities Response Center will operate on a normal 24-hour operational schedule and can be contacted for utilities issues at 229-227-5499.
Residential Refuse for City of Thomasville and Thomas County plus Commercial Refuse
The City of Thomasville Solid Waste Department will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Monday’s route will be serviced on Tuesday, January 16 and schedules will continue as normal for the rest of the week. Customers are encouraged to place containers at curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and will reopen on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 7:00 a.m.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open for normal hours of operation from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tee times are recommended and can be scheduled online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open for normal hours of operation from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
