The City of Thomasville administrative offices will be closed Friday, December 31, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day.
Due to the holiday observance, some City services will be affected. City services’ schedules are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
City of Thomasville Residential Refuse
City of Thomasville residential refuse collection will remain on their normal schedule Friday, December 31. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Thomas County Residential Refuse
Friday residential customers will remain on their normal schedule Friday, December 31. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Commercial Refuse
Friday commercial customers will remain on their normal schedule Friday, December 31. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be open for normal hours of operation from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December, 31 and will be closed on Saturday, January 1. Normal operations will resume on Monday, January 3.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open for normal operating hours on Friday, December 31, and Saturday, January 1. Tee times are required. Schedule tee times online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31.
