The City of Thomasville is responsible for maintaining local roads and public infrastructure for our citizens. Over the next year, several portions of city streets will be resurfaced and/or receive additional street improvements, and new water mains and services will be installed by the city’s contractor. Portions of the following streets will be resurfaced and/or receive additional street improvements:

• CLERMONT DRIVE
• EAST MONROE STREET
• EAST WEBSTER - BROAD TO YOUNG
• EAST WEBSTER HARDAWAY TO SPAIR
• IVEY PLACE
• JONES STREET
• METCALF AVENUE
• MISSISSIPPI AVENUE
• OAK PLACE
• PALMETTO DRIVE
• PEACH STREET
• PEAR STREET
• PINE STREET
• SOUTH COLLEGE
• TOWN COURT
• WARNER STREET
• WEST LOOMIS
Water improvements have started on Webster Street and work will last for approximately one month; then Monroe Street for approximately two months; then Washington Street for approximately two months; and finally, Clermont Drive for approximately two months. As improvements are made to public infrastructure, please be mindful of your speed in work zone areas.
