City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin an extensive wastewater improvement project along East Pinetree Boulevard between Williamsburg Avenue and the railroad crossing near Pine Lake Drive. Traffic control and road milling work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM. Construction work is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27, 2026, and is expected to last approximately six weeks.
There will be temporary lane closures in both directions on East Pinetree Boulevard, from Williamsburg Avenue to the railroad crossing near Pine Lake Drive, for the duration of the project. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays.
