Contractors will begin constructing stormwater catch basins on both sides of Smith Avenue to improve drainage at the Dawson Street intersection. Both the East and West bound outside lanes will be closed in order to provide a safe zone for the construction workers. The traffic shift is expected to begin Tuesday, March 22 at 7:00 am and will last approximately five days. Travelers in the area will need to utilize the inside lanes, or select an alternate route.
