The City of Thomasville Wastewater Department is scheduled to begin replacing a wastewater main on East Washington Street between Glenwood Drive and North Mitchell Street on Monday, June 23, 2025. The work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am and is expected to last approximately three weeks.
There will be a temporary road closure on East Washington Street between Glenwood Drive and North Mitchell Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic only.
