City of Thomasville Water Department staff is responding to a water main break at 1206 Old Monticello Road, between Alston Street and Junius Street. The repair is expected to be completed today.
While this emergency water service repair work is being done, Old Monticello Road will be closed between Alston Street and Junius Street. Additionally, residents on Winslow Drive will not be able to access Old Monticello Road – please use Imperial Drive to either Plantation Drive or Tuxedo Drive. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. Please be patient while the city crews work to repair the city’s infrastructure.
