The City of Thomasville’s next First Friday is just around the corner! On December 5, guests are invited to enjoy a festive evening of sipping, shopping, and dining while listening to talented local street entertainers scattered throughout Downtown Thomasville. With the holiday season in full swing, it’s also the perfect time to experience downtown all aglow with charming Christmas decorations.
Beginning at 5 PM, visitors can explore Downtown’s unique shops - many offering extended hours - making it an ideal opportunity to check off holiday shopping lists. Local restaurants will be open for dining, and adults 21 and older can purchase adult beverages from participating businesses while strolling through the beautifully decorated streets.
“Many of our Downtown businesses stay open late for First Friday, making it a perfect time to shop, dine, and experience the vibrant community atmosphere,” said Brandy Avery, Community Engagement Manager for the City of Thomasville.
There will be no concert at The Ritz Amphitheater for this First Friday; however, guests can still enjoy a lively and festive atmosphere, enjoying live street entertainment from talented local performers including KIT & CHAR, Christa Graham, Zach Lambert, Lizz Yoder, and Trammell Thompson, adding music to every block.
