City of Thomasville contractors will begin installing a new water main on Glenwood Drive between East Walcott Street and Palmetto Drive. The work will start on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, and last three to four weeks. This is part of the City’s 2022 SPLOST/LMIG Street Improvement project.
There will be a temporary road closure on Glenwood Drive between East Walcott Street and East Clay Street while the work completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
