City of Thomasville will have a contractor installing storm drainage pipes, water mains and water service lines along Palmetto Drive between Edgewood Drive and Glenwood Drive starting March 11, 2024.
In order for crews to install storm drainage pipes, water mains and water service lines on Palmetto Drive between Edgewood Drive and Glenwood Drive will be temporarily closed to thru traffic in the work zone starting at 7 am EST on March 11. The work is expected to last four (4) weeks. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or be prepared for some travel delays. Please be patient with the crews while they work.
