City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin installing a water main on Remington Avenue between Covington Avenue and Royal Avenue. This work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last one day.
There will be a temporary road closure on Remington Avenue between Covington Avenue and Royal Avenue while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. Please click here for the detour plan.
