City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin road improvement work on South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and Hutch Way. The work is scheduled to being on Monday, October 26, 2026, at approximately 8:00 am and is expected to last one day.
There will be a temporary road closure on South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and South Broad Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. Please CLICK HERE for ther detour plan.
