City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to perform landscape activities in the 800 Block of Laurel Hill Cemetery, parallel to East Jackson Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at approximately 7:00 AM and is expected to last two days.
There will be a temporary lane closure, from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily, along East Jackson Street near Laurel Hill Cemetery while the work is being completed. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays.
