The City of Thomasville Wastewater Department is scheduled to begin extending sewer service across South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and South Broad Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last one day.
There will be a temporary road closure on South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and South Broad Street. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic, and Paradise Park will remain open.
