City of Thomasville Electric Department staff are removing a tree that is a hazard at 1927 Old Monticello Road, between Glen Arven Drive and Nottingham Drive. The tree removal is expected to be completed today by 5:00 pm.
During the tree removal, Old Monticello Road between Glen Arven Drive and Nottingham Drive will be closed. Detours signs will be posted. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. Please be patient while city crews work to remove this hazard.
