City of Thomasville Electric Department contractors are scheduled to remove a tree in the public right-of-way on Briarcliff Drive between East Washington Street and East Clay Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 8:00 AM and is expected to last eight hours.
There will be a temporary road closure on Briarcliff Drive between East Washington Street and East Clay Street. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
