2024 HURRICANE PREPARATIONS

The 2024 hurricane season begins June 1, and the City of Thomasville encourages residents to assess their homes and property now to be prepared as the season approaches. Last year saw a record number of 20 named storms and seven hurricanes, with three intensifying to major hurricanes. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON STEWART STREET AT REMINGTON AVENUE

Contractors will begin work along Stewart Street on Monday, June 3, 2024. Crews will install a new stormwater drainage conveyance system beneath Stewart Street.
