The City of Thomasville Water Department staff is responding to a water main break at the intersection of East Clay Street and BUS 84/US 38 (Madison Street). There will be emergency lane closures on the outbound, outside lane on BUS 84/US 38 and the west bound lane of Clay Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
