GURA PLAN TO BE PRESENTED TO COUNCIL

The City of Thomasville Planning Department will present the Gateways Urban Redevelopment Plan at the July 25, 2016 City of Thomasville Council Workshop and Meeting. The workshop will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held at 144 East Jackson Street.

The Urban Redevelopment Plan is being prepared for adoption and approval under the provisions of Official Code of Georgia Annotated Section 36-1-7. The areas included in this plan are the Madison Street - North Broad Street Corridor, which includes north of Monroe Street, the Creative District and the Stevens Street neighborhood. Also included are the West Jackson Street Corridor and the residential neighborhoods to the east of this area.

A printed version is available for review at 411 West Jackson Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
