City of Thomasville Water Department staff and contractors are scheduled to begin work on water main improvements along Bennett Street between Remington Avenue and Smith Avenue. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 3, 2025, and expected to last two weeks.
There will be a temporary road closure on Bennett Street between Remington Avenue and Smith Avenue while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
