CITY OF THOMASVILLE ACHIEVES LOCAL ADMINISTERED PROJECTS CERTIFICATION

ROAD CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR WEST JACKSON STREET AND OAK STREET

City of Thomasville Utility crews will begin work along West Jackson Street and Oak Street beginning Tuesday, August 13th. Crews will be removing water valves along both Oak Street and West Jackson Street between Stevens Street and Remington Avenue. The City of Thomasville has been awarded a $300,000 Community HOME Investment Program (CHIP) Grant from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. City of Thomasville Utility crews will begin work along Pear Street beginning Monday, August 5th. Crews will be replacing a sewer main on Pear Street between South Street and Orange Street.
