NATURAL GAS LINE REPAIR - REMINGTON AVENUE

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 09, 2018, the City of Thomasville Natural Gas Department will close the westbound lane on Remington Avenue between Kern Street and Hansell Street (see detour map) to make repairs to a gas mains and valves at the intersection of Remington Avenue and Hansell Street. Sanitary Sewer Service Line Installation on East Monroe Street

Beginning on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 7:00 a.m., East Monroe Street between North Crawford Street and North Dawson Street will be closed temporarily to thru traffic to replace a damaged sanitary sewer service line. Nathan Deal last week announced that the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) awarded approximately $18.1 million in funding for 19 transportation infrastructure projects across the state through the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB). CITY OF THOMASVILLE UTILITIES TVILLE TEXTALERT SERVICE ADDS AUTO ALERT FEATURE

In April of this year, the City of Thomasville Utilities launched Tville TextAlert, a free service that allows customers to report electric outages and receive updates on outages through text messages on their mobile phone or device. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STEVENS STREET

A portion of Stevens Street remains closed today after a water main burst last night. Emergency repairs were completed to a City of Thomasville Utilities water main located near the corner of Stevens Street and Jerger Street around 11 p.m., June 27, 2018.
