The Easter Holiday is fast approaching, and Thomasville residents can hop into the holiday spirit early at the annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Games, face painting and more will fill Paradise Park for the community Easter celebration sponsored by the Thomasville Police Department and City of Thomasville Community Relations on March 19, from 11 am – 1 pm.

“There’s never a shortage of fun at the City’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza event,” said Kha McDonald, senior assistant City manager. “The City’s Community Relations team has a great time getting to know kids while we’re playing games and having fun in the park.”

The entertainment includes games, events and appearances by the Easter Bunny, the Thomasville Fire Clowns and the Thomasville Police Department. Try out your kid’s prize-hunting skills during the Easter egg hunt. Other games and events include: balloons and darts game, sand art, face painting, ring toss, sack race, pin the tail on the bunny and many more! Food and game tickets are four for $1. All proceeds will benefit TPD’s youth safety and education programs.
