CSX Transportation has notified the City of Thomasville that CSX contractors are scheduled to begin a track maintenance project at the railroad tracks on Fletcher Street between Remington Avenue and Victoria Place. The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 7:00 a.m. and is expected to last three days.
There will be a temporary road closure on Fletcher Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or be prepared for some travel delays.
