City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin construction to rehabilitate the area around a box culvert. The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last four weeks.
There will be a temporary road closure on East Washington Street between Glenwood Avenue and North Mitchell Street while the work is being completed. Detour and caution signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential travel delays.
