City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to continue an extensive wastewater improvement project along East Jackson Street between East Pinetree Boulevard and U.S. Route 19 (US 19). The work is scheduled to begin Monday, September 14, 2026, and will occur Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
There will be a nightly temporary closure of East Jackson Street between East Pinetree Boulevard and U.S. Route 19 (US 19) for the duration of the project. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays. Please CLICK HERE for the detour plan.
