The City of Thomasville Water department is scheduled to begin work on a waterline main on Remington Avenue between Hansell Street and Bennett Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last one day.
There will be a temporary road closure on Remington Ave between Hansell Street and Bennett Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic only.
