The City of Thomasville Administrative offices will be closed Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26 in observance of Christmas.Due to these upcoming holidays, some City services will be affected. Schedules are as follows:
Utlities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
Residential for City of Thomasville, Thomas County, and Commercial Refuse
The City of Thomasville Solid Waste Department will be closed on Monday, December 25. Monday’s route will be serviced on Tuesday and schedules will continue as normal for the rest of the week. Customers are encouraged to place containers at curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be closed on Monday, December 25 and will reopen on Tuesday, December 26, at 7:00 a.m.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be closed on Christmas Day and observe normal operating hours throughout the rest of the holiday season. Tee times are recommended and can be scheduled online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will close at noon on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.
