Contractors will begin work at the intersection of Oak Street and West Jackson Street beginning Monday, February 14th.
Crews will be improving the accessibility of West Jackson Street when entering from Oak Street. The work is expected to take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and is expected to last approximately 15 days, depending on weather conditions.
Beginning Tuesday, February 15th, there will be a road closure for Oak Street that is expected to last until Friday, February 18th. Additionally, a temporary lane closure for westbound traffic along West Jackson Street on Wednesday, February 16th will be required while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for travel delays.
