City crews and contractor will be working on the landscape island at West Jackson Street and Remington Avenue beginning on December 11, 2023. The work includes making landscape improvements and will take approximately two (2) days to complete. The work will occur between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm on both days.
The north-bound lane of West Jackson Street between Remington Avenue and Stevens Street will be temporarily closed during this work. Detour signs will be posted to warn travelers of the work zone and lane closure. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays.
