The City of Thomasville has announced upcoming utility work that will impact travelers along Fleming Street next week. Fleming, between West Jackson Street and Campbell Street, will be closed to thru traffic for utility work beginning Wednesday, November 28, 2018, through Thursday, November 29th. City of Thomasville Utilities’ Water Department will be replacing a water main in the area, with work expected to be completed on Thursday evening. The roadway will reopen to the public starting at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018.
“The City will complete this work with the minimum disruption possible, while still protecting the safety of City workers and the traveling public,” said Wayne Newsome, City Engineer. “We appreciate the patience of those traveling through the area.”
