VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS COSTUME CLOSET OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The Victorian Christmas Costume Closet is now open to the public, inside the Thomasville Visitors Center. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“Dressing in Victorian attire helps add to the charm of Victorian Christmas and magic of the experience,” said Brandy Avery, Main Street Director for the City of Thomasville. "Visitors look forward to coming back year after year to join the celebration."

The Victorian Christmas Costume Closet contains dashing ensembles for men and beautiful dresses for women. Costumes can be rented for $10/per person/per costume plus a $25 deposit. Deposits are returned when costumes are returned with a dry-cleaning receipt and tags. Costumes should be returned by Friday, January 12th, 2024.

“We have a variety of costumes if you’re looking for something extra festive to wear. Items are first come, first served, but it’s easy to find items from your closet to create a great Victorian outfit,” noted Avery. “You’ll fit right in with a simple white button-up shirt and black pants or skirt.”

Victorian Christmas will be held in Downtown Thomasville on December 14th and 15th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. both nights. For more information, contact the Thomasville Visitors Center at (229) 228-7977.
