CITY OF THOMASVILLE HOSTS EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA Article PhotoThe City of Thomasville’s Community Relations team expects hundreds of children to pack Paradise Park for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza to be held on Saturday, March 31st from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“The City’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza is an event that our community looks forward to each year,” said Assistant Chief Eric Hampton of the Thomasville Police Department. “It’s a great opportunity for our City’s Community Relations team to get to know kids while playing games and having fun in the park.”

This year’s activities will include inflatable games, bounce houses, inflatable slides, face painting and much more. Participants will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. The main event, however, is the annual Easter egg hunt.

“We will have about 5000 Easter eggs for kids to hunt this year,” said Hampton. “We will separate the activity into age groups so there is plenty of fun for all. Plus, six lucky kids will find special eggs with twenty-five dollar gift cards in them.”

Hampton said that this year, all events will be free to the public. “There will be a small charge for hotdog combos, snow cones and cotton candy, but all proceeds will help support the Thomasville Police Department’s various youth programs,” he said. Food tickets will be available for purchase on site.

“This is a great, family-oriented community event,” Hampton said. “Paradise Park will be filled with fun for all ages!”
